Justin Nagle
Collections and Facilities
Justin R. Nagle is an artist and writer who pens bad poetry, essays, and scholarly work, and makes ugly objects. Their work interrogates affective states as they relate to identity and the structures which create them, primarily queer and fat identities. Nagle has a dual MFA in Fine Arts and MA in Visual and Critical Studies from California College of the Arts. Their work has been published and shown in venues without much cultural clout. Nagle heads up Collections and Facilities at 500 Capp Street, still finding space to continue making work in these trying times.
