SPRING 2022: Home(IN)stead

Students engaged the work of well-renowned San Francisco-based artist, David Ireland, through his house at 500 Capp Street and the eyes of contemporary artists engaging with his groundbreaking work. This was led by guest educator Georgia Horgan, a conceptual artist based in Mexico City. Youth also worked with the artists-in-residence, Megan Lowe and Johnny Huy Nguyen, to create collaborative dance pieces throughout the house. This program was a collaboration between Mission Art Center, a project of San Francisco Park and Rec, and City Studio.
