Natasha Loewy
Development and Program Assistant
Natasha Loewy is an artist based in Oakland, California whose work explores the intersection of drawing, sculpture, and conceptual art. Drawing inspiration from the everyday, her work expresses a full spectrum of emotions—humor, joy, sadness, fear, and angst. Loewy holds a BFA from The San Francisco Art Institute and an MFA from San Francisco State University.
Beyond her studio practice, she is involved in arts education and teaches elementary, middle, and high school students throughout the Bay Area. At 500 Capp Street, she is the Development and Program Assistant, a role in which she helps foster donor connections and supports grant and development efforts. Additionally, Loewy is a co-founder of MUZ, a three-person curatorial collective currently organizing a mobile exhibition series presented within a closed container cargo trailer.
